Do you use these delicious leaves? Most people just throw them out, but I highly recommend to use them. They are packed full of flavour and can be used as a part of a salad or in a soup! I like to use them when I'm making a broth, whether chicken or vegetable. But they can also be used when poaching chicken. I tend to poach chicken if I want to cook a whole chicken or just the breasts and make a broth at the same time. Just poaching the chicken can be plain, but when you add these celery leaves, it gives so much extra flavour. So next time you are cutting your celery, wash and save the leaves. Not going to use them right away? Freeze them in a freezer safe bag/container for future use!
