Sick of Water?

There are many different ways that you can hydrate yourself and water is always going to be recommended. Why? It’s calorie free :) But are you the type of person who can’t stand the taste – or lack of taste, of water? I’ve definitely got a good amount of clients who admit to it.

So what can you use to add some flavour? Yes, you could add a splash of juice or the “fruit flavoured”... water enhancers but have you ever thought of adding actual fruit? Like lemon, lime, frozen fruit? Have you ever thought of cucumbers? They can add quite a refreshing taste! Or even herbs, like fresh mint or basil? There are many different combinations that you could use.

One idea that I will also suggest, is to make your very own homemade ice herbal tea, without the added sugar. This is an idea that has been around for a while but only recently there are some actual companies who are now even marketing special iced tea leaves/sachets. Honestly, if you want to spend the extra money go ahead or you can take what you may already have in your cupboard. Brew the herbal tea for one pot, let it cool, add ice and enjoy!

How do you drink your water?
