Do I need a doctor's referral? - No. In the general sense, a medical note is not required to see a registered dietitian. However, there may be some insurance companies that still require one. Since each insurance policy is different, please check with your insurance provider first.
How many sessions will I need? - This will vary from person to person and will be discussed at each appointment.
How much does each appointment cost? Initial appointment: 185.00$ Follow Up appointment: 110.00$ - Packages on follow ups are available at a discounted rate. 3 follow ups: 299.00$ (must be used within 6 months of purchase) 5 follow up appointments: 499.00$ (must be used within 9 months of purchase)
Do you offer direct billing? - I currently do not offer direct billing at this moment. Only a few insurance providers offer direct billing for dietitian services. You will need to pay for your appointment upfront and submit the invoice to your insurance company to receive reimbursement. In Canada, registered dietitian services are a healthcare expense and therefore can be tax deductible.
